Meet Amanda VanConant, CNP
We are so grateful to have Nurse Practitioner Amanda VanConant as part of our team at Manlove Brain and Body Health! Amanda has a degree as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from University of Colorado Anschutz College of Nursing along with 14 years of experience working as an RN in critical care in a hospital setting and 3 years as a nurse practitioner.
She is originally from South Dakota, but has spent much of her time in Colorado. The beautiful Black Hills eventually drew her back to her roots, while her passion for mental health continues to grow at Manlove Brain and Body Health.
Joining our team in 2020, it did not take long for her patients to see that she is passionate about listening, learning, and seeing progress in the mental health of each individual:
- “Amanda was very professional in her conduct and demeanor. She was very engaged and attentive to me and my issues. I felt that she was hearing me and my concerns.”
- “Amanda was caring, clear and took the time to familiarize herself with my chart and offered a good plan for the future.”
- “I see Amanda V and she is fabulous, always kind and understanding and ready to switch things up when I need to.”
- “I just had my first appointment with Amanda after saying farewell to my previous med management professional. I immediately felt safe and understood under Amanda’s guidance and couldn’t have asked for a smoother transition.”
Amanda enjoys traveling and has taken part in a number of medical missions around the globe. Her favorite places she has traveled so far are Morocco and South East Asia. Outside of the clinic, Amanda stays active by running and snowboarding.
Thank you, Amanda, for sharing your expertise in mental health with us!
